You should make a promise to yourself. Someday between high school and university maybe. I left it too long and didn't get to Europe until I was in my first year of my Masters degree. With all the discount airlines it might not even be that pricey (just a bit uncomfortable). Also, London was fantastic as well. So much more to do than Paris (although more focus on history rather than art history).

Spend quite a while there and went back a couple times. Only went in once, the architecture was enough to keep me entertained.
