Dysfamilial

This shot was random, and the negative was ruined in developing. In trying to salvage my work, I found a gem that had not been there before.

The feeling here is frustration, grief. My mother and I have never really gotten along. I don't remember if it was something I said, or just the weight of it all, the dysfunction of my family. Either way, it's dark, it's raw and it's real.
