Some people wonder why an engineer is so interested in art... to them I say: "thppt."

I have a Master's in Computer Engineering, but I still consider myself an artist. I know there are at least a few others like me out there in dA.

Coincidentally, I'm marrying a Mechanical Engineer and we're designing our own invitations, centrepieces, etc.

All I need now is a subscription so I can use my own stamps.</a>

Art definitely helps in engineering, what with all the sketches and diagrams and geometry and whatnot. At least, it's worked for me. :)

Fuck yeah. Going into my second year in information systems engineering. Only person in the whole university who talks about art. It gets a bit frustrating.
